I honestly don't know. I really don't care how people express themselves so I wouldn't know if I should like go "Awesome!!!!" or go "Huh, neat" or just "good for you"
If my son came home like that I would be impressed! Not my place to tell him what to wear or not to wear- I can try to guide him so he's not made fun of, but I can also teach him that originality and a thick skin go a long way.
Like ima be honest i would be extremely disappointed but i would get over it in time and still show love for him of course I would wish that at some point he would change his ways but you know i cant control him. Im not gonna lie and be like hey I support you I would be devastated but I think I would get over it and still love him.
hey you can down vote me but it is just pure honesty its a hard thing and i know people like to think that they could just take it in stride but it is a big deal.
I think it's one again just preference
Like you prefer your kids to be this instead of that
But if it's not, you eventually gonna be fine with it
I see nothing wrong with it
Like for example if you want your kid to be a doctor and instead he wants to become a contractor or something else you kind of get disappointed but you get over it you know.
Exactly!
And that's the same with the way they dress and style and everything
Like I want my future daughters to be girly cause I'm pretty girly so we can share stuffs and go shopping in same shop
But if she's tomboy style, I'm disappointed cause my plan is doomed but I live with it
.
We have expectations toward everything and everyone, they are jut hopes, dreams
Not obligations
.
You have opinions and preference and everyone goes nut with the downvoting
I honestly wouldn't let my kids wear makeup till they're over 16
Skincare is fine but not makeup
Kids have sensitive skin and need to be protected
.
When they are older with more mature skin then it's less harming
I see kids usually have this really naturally pink lips so no need
Just braid their hair and some cute bow and flowers for the girls
Bowtie or tie for boys
I be mad as hell he is far to young to be wearing make up. My daughter didn't even start to play with real make up till she turn 10. And even then she does not wear it out of the house. He looks 6-8 maybe. Plus I would be mad as hell he can do make up better than me. He would be grounded till he shows me how he did it. lol
First, I'd be like "please tell me that wasn't my good stuff?" then i'd be like "ok, 1 of 2 things is happening.. either you are going to teach me those skills or you are going to start getting up at 5am every morning to do my face!!!"
No need to get mad over a kid expressing themselves when I am the one teaching to think on their own, do what makes them happy as long as it doesn't hurt self or others, and follow their dreams & heart!! Imagine how boring the world would be without having ever known of Beethoven, Rembrandt, Picasso, Andy Warhol, The Rolling Stones, John Belushi, John Candy, Caddyshack, Jane Austin, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, --- if they had been people afraid to follow their hearts & dreams.....
