Indeed. There's plenty of room in that "unused space." Quitcherbitchin.

Add a pet and a kid, then just give up and sleep on the couch so you can feel rested enough to go to work to pay for everyone else's bed that is fit for a king.

It's just cause we want to cuddle! My hubby and I solved this problem: I lay all the way on my side of the bed, then he gets right up against me before we go to sleep. This gives him a fighting chance for the rest of the night! lol

We do that same thing! We have a queen bed and if he goes to bed before me he will end up in the middle so I'm having a tiny amount of room. Thankfully I'm like an oven when I sleep though so I don't have to nudge him over, he gets too hot and moves on his own.

I'm the opposite - I am like a heat seeking missile. He rolls over and I immediately have to go cuddle up and get warm again.

As a husband with a king bed, can confirm. Also, my sleeping space gets smaller through the night. One other thing, absolutely do not try using that unused space. I don't know what it's for but it's not mine.
