That isn't completely true. The body just finds it easier to absorb the iron found in meat easier than the type found in plants. Even if that were the case vitamin supplements would be satisfactory for such a thing if necessary.
But later on they can't even it meat safetly if they tried, so they can be healthy but you're basically making it so your kids won't even get the choice if they want to be vegetarian/vegan or not because of your views
It's the parent's choice on what to feed their child as long as they are well-fed. If the child decides that he wants to eat meat as some point then the parents should do so but it is entirely their choice.
No child can be a vegan either in the same way all children are Atheists. Children are just not informed of life enough to understand such things. It's like saying your child wants to be biologist. It just doesn't work as the child has no idea what biology actually is, what it takes to become one, and the countless years in between during which the child may decide he likes psycology more.
rosalinas : don't take the right to eat human meat away from your children just bc you choose to..
Try cannibalism.. dont oppress your kids,
"You are what you eat" eat humans..

Not true. Eating the brain and some other organs can be negative, however normal human flesh, such as muscle, skin, etc..., is no different from normal meat. The common negatives, usually bundled under the term of kuru, stems from eating the brain.
I was raised vegetarian...never had any anemia or health problems. At 16 I decided to try meat and was very sick from it; my stomach hadn't developed enzymes to break it down. It is possible to be healthy and not eat meat.
I would support this, but, there's no way this could be appropriately monitored.
I,a current meat eater, refused to eat meat of any sort until I was five. I literally vomited it up within minutes and to this day I have to watch how much meat I eat. My parents were carnivores, for sure. Had they chosen to not make me eat meat, they should not have been jailed for it. Sometimes kids WON'T eat meat.
However, I CAN support those parents ( and pet owners) who are those recent nut jobs proudly proclaiming they do not give their littles meat, being fined and then monitored. If they don't comply with feeding their children adequately, going forward with charges such as these.
Eating meat AND choosing not to are both lifestyle choices a person should make on their own. Fucking up your child's health should not be an option. Balance fuckers, it's easy.
There are some proteins in meat that are key to a child's brain development and many parents are unaware of this and so kids that are vegan/vegetarian don't get enough of these important proteins. There are some vitamins specific to supplementing these proteins for young children. It would likely be more useful for their government to inform the parents of how to properly supplement meat for growing children. Both lifestyles are healthy, but must be used properly!
With children!?
Instead of letting them eat meat, you tell them to take pills?
Try cannibalism.. dont oppress your kids,
"You are what you eat" eat humans..
