My step mom is the worst at this. You have to literally summarize the entire movie anytime there is a plot twist.

My mum does this with every minor plot point, forget plot twists.

This is totally my son. He'll ask a question about the movie and I tell him "just watch" He'll sit there for about 45 seconds before asking another question and I'm like "shh, just watch. The answers are coming" Then he asks ANOTHER question and I lose it "sshhh! You just missed the answers to your questions." *pause movie and explain plot up to that point* Son: "ohh. Ok." *play movie* And a couple minutes later the questions start again. I swear it takes us 2 1/2 hours to watch 1 1/2 hour movie

This is what my mom does, but in addition, she can never resist talking about the dullest unrelated random topics when everyone else is trying to pay attention.
