These are actually correct, although the Lincoln one is taken out of context. He also said that if he could save the Union by freeing all the slaves, he would do it. Also if he freed only some slaves he would do it. The point is he wanted to save the Union, the slaves were an optional side quest.

Quotes on Internet are always true - Benjamin Franklin.
"If I could save the Union without freeing any slave, I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves, I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would also do that."
Fun Fact: While Lincoln quote is taken out of context, he actually did not care about freeing the slaves. He was neither a radical republican or an abolitionist, he just wanted the war to end. He only passed the emancipation proclamation to cripple the Confederacy economically.
He signed the Proclamation to give the rebel states a last chance to return to America. The Proclamation details how all the slaves "in rebel territory" would be freed, starting at the new year. If, say, Alabama had returned to America after Lincoln issued the Proclamation, slaves in Alabama would not have been set free.
I do like the Robert E Lee quote (if accurate), because people today like to claim "the civil war wasn't about slavery", but the actual general of the rebel states seems to think it totally was.
Today some people say that the civil war wasn't about slavery -- but nobody said it then. Each state that joined the confederacy passed articles of secession, and every one of them prominently featured the slavery issue.
To some. To others he's a leader and despite which side he took, he was a good man. A better man than Lincoln. Lincoln couldn't care less about slaves. Lee cared.
