Really don't get it

I don't really like going straight then abruptly going left. It feels weird and makes one feel like a robot.

It's because people cut the pavement. I do it, just because it's more fluid.

The fact that humans don't walk in 90° angles is known to city planners since the 1970s and still nobody took it into consideration...
