Win 10 update = daily
But each time they only take a few sec, 1 min top so it doesn't bother me.

Since when do Mac OS updates cost money? Can't say I've ever had that happen.

They used to cost money, but haven't for years. The last one to cost money was 10.8 "Mountain Lion" back in 2012. It cost $20.
