But do you have to be sober to ride a horse? It's not like you could accidentally crash it into a tree or something, as it comes with built in security system.

Yes you can crash into a tree. And yes the moment you tell your horse to cross a busy road it will cross the road without looking left or right to see if any cars are coming. To me it's just as irresponsible as drunk driving

I've worked with horses and let me tell you, some of them are exactly like that.

My own horses probably won't jump of a big cliff but the moment I tell them to go left they will since that's what they have been told to do. Their whole lives they are trained to respond and immediatly act out what we expect of them.
