Maybe he just hit it a really wrong way? Cause sometimes it can look like a small thing but you bumped tbe complete wrong part of your arm

I did that once and ended up with a thump tack in my elbow, someone had left it point up on the counter. Yeah I said a few not so appropriate words for a retail environment.

I was at work once and sliced my entire palm while sorting an avocado (our store is subway style so we prepare the food in front of them). I ended up finishing the food with one hand while they looked pretty horrified... There was a lot of blood filling up my glove.
