Not always true, there are mines that wait for you to step off and then jump up to waist height before exploding. For example the German ww2 mine the "bouncing betty"
When talking about most technical things- but perhaps weapons and explosives most of all- you can't just say "bomb" or "mine" or "Grenade." It's like you can't say "pizza" when ordering one. Every chef, every restraunt, even different areas have their own idea of "pizza," and countless different toppings, crusts, and ways to put it all together. Sauce on top, white sauce, no sauce. In Italy or Japan for instance a pizza looks very different from what most Americans picture. So not all mines behave that way, and not all pizza has sausage on it. You wouldn't sound very smart if you said "unlike in movies, pizza doesn't have sausage on it" and if your life ever depended on it, I wouldn't gamble one way or the other.
Now there is finally a reason to shuffle.
