American English is more similar to classical English so it's British English that is the mistake.

Literally the only thing that is more similar is the accent in some places. The spelling, the pronunciation and the lack of the Oxford comma all have changed the way english is spoken in America.

The allies would've lost without us. The Devil was just over the channel and the Soviets couldn't compete if it weren't for American supplies and vehicles. Not to mention all the manpower that was diverted from the eastern front to combat the American led liberation of Europe.

There is English and then English 2.0 the improved update. Unfortunately there was attempted update 2.2 in urban regions, we are still waiting for a patch for that one.
