Well the only issue here is that the length of swords varies wildly. 400 might be enough for a shortsword or a large dagger, but you'd need much more for a claymore or longsword

There’s about 3 grams worth of iron in a human body. 400 people give you 1200 grams, which is enough for a sword that’s roughly 1 meter long. Swords are light as heck
