No, they don't get to keep any of the money. You pay to be in girlscouts, and if you achieve a certain quota (say 200$ worth of cookies), you get some 2$ quality stuffed animal or some shit that barely costs them anything

The troop does get money from sales but the girls don’t get it. They use it on a troopwide event or trip. I worked at build a bear for a few years and we had a lot of troops come in and have a party with their money

They don't get to keep it, it becomes troop funds or the kids can choose to get their pay in stuffed animals and other cheap prizes.

It wasn't a question. It was a statement, and when people challenged that statement I provided more information to back myself up.

That's is such an irresponsible statement. It's a non profit organizations which helps girls grow strong... less support and bashing statements such as this challenge a great organization.
