Yes, some white men stole the land from the tribe that stole it from some other tribe previously. They didn't evolve right in place, or move to previously totally uninhabited areas.
Did you know that Inca medicine was far advanced? They could do bone and brain surgery. Many native bred llamas and alpaca, and had complex road systems over mountains and gorges. Certain tribes had mapping based on time it took to travel. See Douglas T. Peck's article "Development of Celestial Navigation by the Ancient Maya", in Journal of Navigation Studies 54 (2001). He writes that "the ancient Chontal Maya in northern Yucatan possessed large seaworthy vessels in which they navigated long distances out of sight of land (400–600 nautical miles) to reach the islands of the Caribbean and the shores of Florida." People in Alaska and Canada naviagted too http://astro-canada.ca/_en/a4102.php https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metallurgy_in_pre-Columbian_America A whole page for native metallurgy.

Another cool thing that the Incas did was their stonework. They were able to cut stones in such a way that they could fit them together tightly without mortar, and it's stayed relatively intact, even through earthquakes.
