It's cool man, but even then I still see many people saying it seriously. And I just really don't get why, the only thing it does is that it creates a strawman out of the opposing side, and then people attack that made up strawman instead of the actual opinions of the other side.
In French it's "dièse" and hashtag is "mot-dièse". I love this translation. Heck, I love any translation of new English words.
