People say chickens are herbivores they are not they are actually true omnivores and will eat meat quite happily.

most birds do that. Even small songbirds are fed meat at first.

Yes, they will eat meat and are very attracted to the color red especially blood. (I own 52 of the feathered bastards!)

I just found out chickens do actually eat mice! My dad fed them one that got stuck in a trap yesterday & they all fought over it! I knew they ate small insects & stuff but had no idea about rodents!
