Oh Gee. I don't know how these fellow netizens would know if it's my birthday today, without me telling them.
Damn, y'all aren't clairvoyants, are y'all?
I watched Logan last night. It's not just a good superhero movie. It's a legitimately good film in its own right. It's super refreshing to see a Marvel movie that actually shows what it's like to have the ability to murder everything in your way.
I loved it, but at the same time I cried. I'm really digging the direction Marvel is going with their characters by actually /showing the effects/ of the events. Like Tony's PTSD after New York. It's just that much more believable. Even if they did pass up a wonderful opportunity for Loki's beef with Odin.

And what they did with The Punisher. Holy Guacamole. That show is just pure gold.
I haven't gotten around to Runaways yet, basically waiting for all of season 1 to come out and then use my free trial to binge.
But The Punisher... holy fucking shit that show was awesome.
So my biological father was never there for me, when I was ten I met him and he told me he “had too much on his plate” to take care of me or visit. My stepdad adopted me and has been in my life since I was 9. Even after he and my mother got divorced he’s been there for me. I’m 23 years old now and he’s the greatest father in the world. Also I cried when I saw that part in GOTG2.
I found the Capitain America scene kind of cheesy. The Guardians scene made me laugh because of the choice of words, although it was touching that Yondu showed that he does care for Quill. The scene from Logan got me...I've seen it 9 times and I cried every time
It's tough... but Yondu's funeral. Perfect song... and the fireworks... damn. Just damn. Also, Peter's mom in the 1st... that scream he lets out is visceral. Then Logan, then Peggy.
