The world isn't ready for a joining of nations. There are too many wars, grudges, conflicting ideologies/religions, lack of wealth, geographical differences, and many other factors that stop this. The first step in my opinion is universal wealth. In other words, no more third world countries by the assistance of other, wealthier nations.
Its not about that, in reality its about after living. People strive for more, they seek more life isnt enough and nor should it be. We believe in religions because they are what make life worth living. People strive to become leaders and to become number 1 in something because this is it and they want to be known for something or want to achieve something before they die and are thrust into the unknown. Its not just about living but after living that really and truley affects people and makes them wonder.
I disagree on the religion part. We don't need religion to make life worth living. It just helps some people think that and is one of the many social structures that gives people something to work for. Book clubs, sports, video games, work, and hobbies do the same thing with less consequences.
I disagree with your disagree from my religious perspective i look at life currently as a materialistic world where nothing i do or say will remain and that hurts man i go through struggles and live a life that I dont necessarily feel great about all the time and it sucks. Religion gives me a purpose a life after this life something to look forward to something that makes all of my works something more than just something that will be destroyed in the future.
I also look at it that way because life is unfair and religion somewhat makes it fair and it makes it easier to go through life everyday knowing that people who just die shortly or people who I know and love who die are gonna be seen in the future and are currently living with a higher meaning or purpose.
That's life. Nothing you do matters in the end. Why do you assume that life has a purpose or even cares whether you live or die? Life is unfair and religion doesn't change that; it only makes you feel better about it which every one of my previously listed activities can do just as well, if not better. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that it isn't true.
Thats your opinion I dont like to live life that way. My sister is adopted and has brain damage cause her mother drank now her life sucks a its horrible cause she cant think normally and people in her own family despise her for it and people all over hate her. It is not enough for me just to go that is life I search for more I want more and I found more in religion believe what you want but trust me just saying thats life isnt enough for people hence we have tons of religious people.
I repeat my point: Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that it isn't true. I'm sorry about your sister and mother, but that doesn't change the facts.
there is no facts on a life after this and whether god is true or not its the gamble we all choose to take you choose to believe there is nothing i choose to believe there is something if that makes you feel better go ahead im just saying you cant just tell people its for nothing because you cant prove it wrong like some people cant prove it right.
It's not up to me to prove it wrong. It's up to you to prove that it is right. I have no major issue with people believing in a deity or afterlife... As long as the religion in question isn't discriminating against others or inspiring negative actions directly. The issue is that almost every religion does this - particularly theistic ones.
people take it the way they take it atheist have done bad things too. Religion helps people and some people perform could actions under it. Im mormon and I dont hate people I just dont believe their lifestyle is the best or what god wants from them thats all. Im not gonna go kill all the gays because i disagree with same sex marriage. I dont have to prove it right to you as long as i prove it right to myself its for me not you. If you want to know ask god but im just saying dont tell me its for nothing because religion most definitely is for a reason and is not just some fictional thing we just one day choose to believe in.
Some religions do some dont tell me where it tells a mormon to discriminate or do bad things to people.

Dude, spiderman, there’s a time and a place for religious debates, but this is not it, especially if he’s not even trying to convince anyone or anything like that. Just let trashman believe what he wants, it doesn’t affect you and he doesn’t need to prove his beliefs to you unless he’s trying to make you believe it as well
Well, it says that a "woman's primary place is in the home, where she is to rear children and abide by the righteous counsel of her husband" and women are not permitted to have power within their church throws an immediate red flag. Male only (Males can have a harem, but not vice versa) polygame throws another. Committing homosexual acts are also considered a violation of the "Father"'s laws.

Your point being?
Edit: fair enough, I misread some stuff
I was talking to @trashmanrevenge about mormonism not you. I'll get to you now. It does affect me and it will affect my children and their children and their children unless someone stops it. I'm not just going to watch someone be openly racist, heterosexist, and misogynistic without commenting. It does affect me. It affects our laws and our morals. It completely affects me and saying otherwise is simply a lie.
Males cannot have a harem and what is this a quote from please. Im not violent and you are obviously a bigot seeing as you see everyone with a religion as maniacs and for simply defending my religion you throw all these labels on me for what I believe I dont hate them i just dont support them and if you dont see a difference then you need to open your mind.

I am not aware of any racist, homophobic, sexist etc laws in western countries which have their base in religion. That’s the whole point of separation of church and state right?
Of course @trashmanrevenge. I am an anti-theist. I see any religion involving a god, deity, or anything supernatural to be inherently bad and evidence and facts are on my side as religion makes people easy to manipulate and encourages them to do evil acts. I know you're not going to admit to any of the evils of your religion. You are either purposefully hiding them or are not highly enough ranked to be told them. Go listen to ex-mormon stories if you really want to know.
bruh mah weed you need to relax on religion bro as many bad things it creates it also creates good things and good Morales in people you are blatantly pulling the good things out of religion and only focusing on the few bad things there are not to mention you lump them all together. Open your mind ignorance will get you no where in life my friend.
The question isn't whether it creates good and bad things. It's whether or not we can have the good without the bad by removing religion and the answer is yes. Morals have existed thousands upon thousands of years before the idea of a god entered the first tribal human's mind. I suggest you open your mind instead of repeating the same nonsense you've been indoctrinated into since birth.
There is no good and bad no black and white to assume religion is the black and atheism is the white is ridiculous. People do bad things whether influenced by religion or not and there are good people in religions I feel my religion helps me do good things and is good for me so I will continue to believe it. Believe what you will but dont pretend that you somehow have earned the right to force your beliefs on other or that they must prove theirs to you.
Long story short but any species with anything approaching our thought patterns are going to understand exactly why this happens. It's stupid and purposely ignorant to think otherwise. Now they may think it's primitive but there is a big difference in recognizing primitive behaviour and creating an improbably arbitrary viewpoint simply because you feel we should do things differently
