These seem like the people I'd want to watch Apocalypse Now with on Halloween... truly leave them with "the horror, the horror" burned into their brain.

I think the fact this says 'Noices' isntead of 'noises' makes it so much better, because now the washing machine is aggressively saying "Noooiiiice"

It's rocking her like a baby I suppose. Or maybe the books are about the sea and she wants more immersion?
