Ever since I first saw nightmare before Christmas where the doctor opens his skull and scratched his brain it made me think. Maybe the reason our insides don't itch is because they are not touched by air like or skin is. Think about it. Did you ever have a time when your tongue was itchy? It is because small particulars touched it and so your tongue wanted the thing gone so it made it itchy so you will move it.
So I think if we were able to just open our self up when ever we wanted we would have itchy insides.
It's an interesting theory. But then who don't your lungs itch, your veins, inside your sinus cavity? If you sustained a large open wound or underwent surgery wouldn't your organs be exposed to air? It's possible a sealed environment could reduce itching I'm sure. But our organs also lack many types of nerves found in skin so that could be a large part of it.
I don't think they have the capacity to itch. An itch is just a small pain if I remember correctly and I don't think many organs have the innervation to detect small damage or irritation on the level we consider an "itch".
Actually they don't quite no what an itch is. The leading current theory is that random itches are your bodies way of doing some sort of "system check" but even that isn't concrete. I should add that some nerve cells were found in the spine which seem to be a big piece of the puzzle, but aren't the only piece, and there is a theorized correlation between receptors for itching and pain, but no conclusive relationship.
People with Pruritus do report feeling like their organs itch sometimes. Pruritus Is commonly a symptom of hepatitis C, but can also be experienced by anyone with cirrhosis, or even dry skin. Those reporting "itchy organs" aren't as common as people with localized or whole body itch, and it tends to be reported by those with hep C or organ failure (I've seen no reports of it as a symptom of dry skin.)

I once had chicken pox so bad the doctors said it was also inside my body so my insides were itchy... Don't really remember it but my mom said they basically pumped me full of Benadryl so I'd sleep til it went away.
