We can approximate the max fat a dinosaur had by looking at the bone strength and density. If we know this, then we know how much fat it would take to have a dinosaur be crushed under its own weight.
And dinosaurs that are crushed under their own weight were certainly not capable of reproducing.

There are fossilized foot prints that can used to determine weight.
