A bunch of beer is a pallet load of the same brand/unit type (a pallet of 30 boxes of 30 pack cans would be a bunch) at least that's how the invoices at my store are worded.
You would think, but no. In fact, at ground zero in Japan there were survivors and standing buildings. Mainly reinforced ones like bank vaults. Keep in mind early bombs tended to be single stage and much less powerful than modern devices. In testing certain materials and construction methods as well as other factors beyond just proximity to ground zero influenced how well things did against the blast. Civil tests were conducted as well as military tests to aid with nuclear survival. One type of test included placing various common consumable items in the strong radiation zone of the blast to test how food supply would be effected in nuclear war, and wether scavenged supplies would be safe to consume. taste tested reported the beer to be warm and flat, but otherwise what they'd expect from a standard beer.
Does it grow on vines then, like grapes?
