Many of the millennials at work seem to survive on 7-11 roller dogs and microwave burritos.

Not to mention that dollar stores now have a lot of staples, and mom & pop corner stores have things like bread and eggs for lower prices. Milk is mandated and is the same everywhere, but a lot of millennials can't afford marriage, kids, or houses so they're buying fewer, cheaper groceries just for them.

Growing up in Hawaii, Milk was a luxury. When it costs upwards of $6 a gallon, you learn to do without.

Western New York, between Buffalo and Rochester. Maybe it helps that dairy farming is a huge industry in our area.

Milenials are buying fewer groceries AND eating out less. It's simple...they're eating at their parents' house.
