This is ridiculous. First of all, let's pull on the wisdom and experience of the older generation. Second of all, most positions are only 2-4 years, and many "old" people will live that long after a vote. What age are you going to pick? 65, 80, 90? There would be so many people that aren't going to be gone after they vote.
Not arguing with your comment , just want to add, that it doesn't matter if a person dies in the polling places parking lot after voting, that is a protected right, bought and paid for with blood
I know people in their 20s that shouldn’t vote and people in their 60s that shouldn’t.....because they don’t read from reputable sources and use emotional knee jerk reactions to decide which party is the lesser evil. It’s not an age thing, it’s a information thing. Being well informed about candidates (not parties) is the best way to go.....or you know if they aren’t doing a good job, try running yourself.
Sometimes,it doesn't matter how well informed you are, you get stuck trying to choose between different piles of shit. Unfortunately, and I like to believe that most people are honest, gold wins
18 year olds who've never really even lived should get a vote on things they cant possibly understand yet, but you want to limit the votes coming from the wisest group of people in the country?
At least you're feeling empowered.
I find it interesting this has so many likes yet only 2 comments supporting this idiotic idea.

I say just pull the plug on the elderly after a certain point.
There aren't that many people over 80 I've met that aren't a complete liability and hassle to their entire family.
Sorry Bernice but there's no point in you trying to make memories anymore if you'll just forget them before you even die naturally.
I mean yeah but so is watching your 83 year old mom think it's 1945 and freaking out over an iPhone while asking who you are when you try to explain.
It's me mom you've literally know me your whole life.
Imagine if your roommate insisted on picking a movie you didn't want to go to, compelled you to pay for the both of your tickets plus that of one of his friends because you have a job and he doesn't, and then talks through the whole movie why you should also be on the hook for concessions for all of you.
Okay? Uhm that wasn’t really the question or the statement but thank you for that piece of common knowledge... I think.

That's why non-taxpayers shouldn't vote.
And when whosoever dies, their vote be discarded and change governments according to that??????
