Not sure why this would be downvoted. Everyone calling 911 for actual life threatening emergencies are in the same wait queue as people like this who aren't satisfied with their chicken nugget situation or who let their 2 year old play with their phone. Meanwhile someone's having an asthma attack or in fear for their safety and they have to wait to get through.
I don’t know why you were dv’d either. Perhaps someone took your assertion of fact as a tacit approval of the action- which I felt it’s clear you do not approve, and you have now made very clear you do not approve. So this is either a situation for philosophy, or science. Scientifically- Newton’s 6th law states: “Haters gun’ hate.” Philosophically they may need to ease up on reading the works of Bophaedees, Bophadees Nuts that is, to give the proper full name.
That’s where he danger of the “fake news” label comes in. This isn’t fake news. She did call 911 after McDonalds ran out of chicken nuggets. It’s what happened between the running out of nuggets and the call that got left out- but everything’s factual there. My point is that fake news is a blatant lie. Bias or out of context news, manipulation of language to influence perception- those are different issues that should be addressed on their merits and not simply thrown into a pot with fiction. If you see the shadow of a cylinder only from the back, you’ll say you see a circle. If I see it only from the side I’ll say I see a rectangle. Both of us are telling the truth of what we see, both of us contradict each other, and the truth is neither one of us knows the whole truth. But yeah. Bullshit media is pissing me off too.
Same thing with the " woman sued McDonald's cause her coffee was too hot "
People laugh but it was hot enough to cause 3rd degree burns and she needed skin graphs for it. They only offered $800 in compensation which wouldn't even comr close to cover the medical bills.

Not only that but she was something like 80 years old, and the coffee was at 150 something degrees Celsius (302F). Definitely worth more then 800 bucks
It was cause the don't expect you to drink it right away, they expect you to start drinking it when you get wherever you're going so they make it extra hot so it won't be cold when you get to your destination.
Fun fact- it would in theory be possible to heat coffee to that temperature at atmospheric pressure. A smooth enough container and a few other factors are required- but you can do this at home with household items. Through superheating a liquid can cross the boiling point but not boil. The surface tension of the liquid under certain conditions can prevent bubbles from escaping, and other factors reduce or remove their formation. In these instances the liquid remains liquid and doesn’t vaporize until disturbed. Then it usually violently realizes the energy all at once in a scalding hot liquid “explosion” in which it essentially instantly boils. It’s a fun experiment but be safe if you try! As a bonus “tossing” such liquid from a container on a freezing cold day can turn the scalding liquid into harmless snow almost in an instant. Again though- be safe and don’t throw it at people counting on it freezing! This is because the water particles are finely atomized at this point so freeze EZ.
that's exactly why the hypothesis of a liquid hydrogen core at the center of Jupiter exists! Yay science! And yeah, you CAN do it at home, but don't. You could also do the opposite and cause an implosion if you wanted, but also don't do that...
"She are the manager". XD nah forreal though, that's not a 911 complaint... you can call your local police station; if you don't know the number , 411 it. 911 is for emergencies.... having a Mcdonalds steal a dollar isn't an emergency.
411 ones cost money though. It may seem laughable to some but that $1.99 can be a lot to some people. I’d imagine someone calling 911 to get a cheeseburger refund at McDonald’s might fall in that category. But yes, sadly many people don’t realize that the local police and even the highway patrol have their own numbers.
It wouldn't even be an issue if the McD manager had just given her her due refund of the difference. Blame the manager for being an ass with delusions of power.
they can't refund the difference in price between the nuggets and the burger, which I'm thinking is why they told her no, and she didn't understand. Definitely not a reason to call 911 though...

You have to think of it like she would’ve been thinking about it. Someone just took your money and won’t give it back, so call the police
