Why is there virtually no US news outlet coverage of this? WaPo is one of the few and they don’t link the video of the successful launch, just the scrubbed launch from 3 weeks ago.

Please, inspire yourself as he does in something you feel passionate about. And maybe sometimes you'll crash, but maybe sometimes you'll achieve more than you or others expected of you. This man's premise was admittedly dumb, but he took his own genuine interests and achieved more than most of us commenting on funsubstance eighteen hours a day.
Honestly everyone gives this dude shit and only speaks about the negatives, he believes the earth is flat which is wrong but moving on. He wanted to prove his point and he stuck with it. He went on to build a rocket and actually strapped himself and launched himself 1875ft into the air. How many of you can say you have ever done something that fuckin cool??
