Drew a smiley face in the round part of a “P” in kindergarten while learning how to write the letters. Teacher said that there were no smiley faces in the letters and made me erase it.
Went to the principal's office for doing what I was supposed to do.
I was in 5th grade the teacher was being a lazy bitch so made us switch papers and grade other people's paper. She calls them out and each one is right so no marks. As she goes on she stops and says I am not doing what I am supposed to do and I said yes I am none of these are wrong she acusses me of cheating and sends me to the principal's office. I never been in trouble so I start to cry on the way. The secretary who knows me because I always was kind to everyone who works in schools sees me coming down the hall comes out to me and ask what's wrong I tell her what happen and she tells me to sit in the nurses office till I feel better and it wasn't till years later do I find out she told the principal what I said happen so he chewed out my teacher. She never made us kids grade papers again .
I would get yelled at for doodling after my assignment was done or talking during group assignments ( not talking too loudly, just talking. It was a specific teacher who picked on me but still )
I also go in trouble for not knowing cursive, so for every assignment I did in print the teacher would take an extra 10 points off, even if I would have otherwise had 100 .
Not stupid, but it's the only thing I can remember 'cause I was a Good Kid(TM).
This was when I was in 4th grade. I was bringing a drink to school in a thermos. It was chocolate milk. I was at school with it sitting on my desk and the teacher turns to me and goes, "Daniel, is that coffee?"
And it's not, so I reply, "No."
She's dubious, but doesn't press it further because I was a Good Kid(TM) and didn't often lie.
I'm going through the day sipping from the thermos living the high life. Got my chocolate milk, having fun in elementary school class. Being the clumsy ass I am, it falls over and spills on the floor. Oof.
Turns out chocolate milk looks a lot like coffee to a teacher sitting across the room as it soaks into a blue rug.
She comes over angry, "You said it wasn't coffee!"
My innocent ass goes, unknowing of sarcasm, "It's not!"
I get sent to the office and my parents are called. They arrive and my defense the entire time was, "The teacher asked if it was coffee. It's not!"
In 5th grade these two kids got in an argument over who was out in a game of handball. I had been next in lineto play, so I had been carefully watching and went over to tell them what I saw (they both technically should have been out, so they should just re-do it). Apparently a few other kids meant to do the same thing and there ended up being a circle around the two arguing kids. One of them wanted his space so he held out his hand and sort or swung it around himself, in the process grazing me on the cheek. I wasn’t hurt and decided to let them sort it out so I left and pretty much forgot about it.
Later that day I was called to the principals office and was scared, not sure why I was called. The girl who had been arguing over the ball with the guy had apparently told the principal that the guy hit me.
I explained that it was an accident and he barely touched me, but instead of letting me go, I was forced to sit there with the guy and girl and listen to the rest of the situation.
At the end, the principal asked for us to come up with a proper punishment for arguing over the ball. Neither of the two actually in the fight came up with anything, so I suggested that none of us could get a ball the rest of the week from the ball room (the room the yard ladies locked up the balls in). Later that week I wanted to play four square but wasn’t allowed to.
TLDR; I ended up having to come up with a punishment for myself for something I didn’t do because I tried to help peacefully solve an argument.
