Maybe enjoying something a lot and wanting to share that with a friend only to discover through their reactions that they don’t actually enjoy it and having to watch them pretend to laugh while you know they don’t want to and feel bad that they 1. Don’t actually like it and 2. Feel uncomfortable, in the end making YOU feel even more uncomfortable and a little dejected.

once had to watch a video of a mentor's grandchildren running around in mere swimsuits whilst driving in an ambulance and having to cling tightly in order not to be flung somewhere.
There's a coworker I have who, without fail, always "happens" to take his lunch break at the same time as me, even though sometimes he comes in hours apart from me. He usually tries to show me LoL memes and the like, but every time I try to get him to leave me alone, the next day he's at it again with the same shtick.
