Just do your fucking job. Dealing with assholes - either the ones you work with or the general public - is part of working. If you think you don't have to do your job because you don't like someone, you're the asshole.
If you're entitled enough to think you just get to be an asshole to someone for no reason with no repercussions then you're the one on the wrong. Unless someone is being an ass to you, there's no reason to be rude to them and people shouldn't have to put up with grown children.
I used to work in hospitality, and by far the worst guests were the Diamond or Platinum members, the big spenders who felt like because they travel 200 days a year they suddenly have the right to be a complete bellend. What they are never told though is that the workers at the hotel can call Hilton and inform them that their high rolling guest is harassing staff, and if enough complaints are filed, the company can pull their status. I've seen it done twice and it is glorious.
