I googled it and there is at least one species of snake that eats poisonous newts, and because the poison doesn’t leave their body, the snakes become poisonous themselves. So “there is no such thing as a poisonous snake” is a lie
Technically they aren't poisonous themselves as they don't product the poison. That would be like calling koalas poisonous cause they eat eucalyptus leaves. Their diet is poisonous. They aren't.

Some frogs we call poisonous also get their poison from certain bugs I believe. But you’re right, they’re not really poisonous in the sense that they produce it. I felt it was kind of wrong to call that poisonous, but apparently biologists think it’s okay (at least some do) and they know a heck of a lot more than me
