That's not necessarily true. Claiming someone isn't transgender because of how you think a transgender individual should dress isn't the best of ideas. How someone dresses and grooms themselves has no bearing on their gender identity.
I don't think I'll ever understand this. It's a private business' right to deny service for any and all reasons. Now, if they do deny service they don't make money. If they don't make money they don't stay in business. If they can't stay in business they no longer have to deny anyone. This is a basic fact of running a business. No one likes getting turned away for any reason but it does happen accept it and move on. There is no point in purposely antagonizing the business. They may have been able to come back later and been serviced without any trouble. Now they've created an enemy because they can't look past their own nose and see that everyone is different and not everyone thinks the same.
