I've got a bunch of decks. Fire Kings, Fluffals, Raidraptors, Vampires, Kaijus, hell even even a couple more gimmicky ones like Toons, Performapal + Odd eyes, and Ghostricks

Kaijews?
Toons?
Ghostricks?
Ill duel using only the gimmickiest deck ever: Normal Monsters.
Then Cyberse came along and said "Hey, Psychic, Plant, and Dragon-Types! You remember when you tried to be an archetype based on one type? Look at us! We're so consistent, powerful, and we even have our own boss monsters based on a summoning mechanic that we are most supportive of!"
Fucking Cyberse
Maybe it's just me being easily entertained by stuff, but I enjoy the new faster gameplay. It makes things exciting to see and pull off. Is there issues? Holy hell yes. Is it flawed? Indeed! But do I still appreciate the fun fast decks? Sure!
Look at mtg. It's one of the more balanced games tcg wise. It's entirely possible to make a competitive level slow burn deck or a competitive level super rush deck. It's possible for any deck style to have an answer for a lot of strategies (probably not all of them at once if they did it probably wouldn't have a win condition) and it's speed hasn't really creeped much at all in the super many years of existence. Yugioh hasn't had that since classic. And even then it was almost a solved game.
Well, excluding XYZ, you got Shiranui, Mayas, and some other Zombie Archetype.
Cyberse is getting into Synchros as well, but I guess Xyz could be going out too.
Except for exciton knight, he just got limited, so that's good
Mayakashi is nothing but synchro, and like, 1 link.
Honestly, mayakashis need some serious help. I love them, but they're kinda sucks. IMO they need a field spell that let's them swap synchros in their graveyard once per turn, letting you activate their effects at any time and letting you change weaker synchros like odoboregon to something like youko or gashadokuro, also being able to pop monsters, backrow, or get a big beefy 3300 beater with effect immunity

Yeah, I have no idea how mayakashi can special summon themselves consistently if they have effects based being summoned from the Graveyard.
Like maybe an effect like "banish two monsters with different levels, and special summon from your graveyard, 1 "Mayakashi" or Zombie-Type Synchro Monster from your Graveyard(This counts as a Synchro Summon). You cannot summon monsters with the same level as the Synchro Summoned monster for the rest of the turn. At the end of your turn, send the monster to the Graveyard, and Special Summon the two banished monsters."
Interesting. I would have it so it doesn't count as a synchro summon though so you can activate their effects, since they have 0 ways of removal right now aside from those hard to pull off synchro graveyard effects
technically speaking a a syncro summon done where the monster is pulled from the graveyard would count as "summoned from the graveyard" for effects, no?
I just read only that apparently if a synchro monster finds its way to the gravyard without being synchro summoned first it can't be special summon by other card effects at all. That's so bleh
My decks vs your decks

KONAMI KNOWS THAT THE EXTRA DECK WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO PROPERLY SUPPORT 4 DIFFERENT CARD TYPES
