I never felt like I didn’t have free speech, but you might be referring to the UK, in which case I’m with you, they’ve gone way too far with things like not being allowed to carry a freaking box-cutter and shit. Not related to freedom of speech, I don’t know how their situation with that is, but with “weapons” stuff they’ve lost it

No pepper spray, no large dogs, no tasers. I'm surprised they haven't banned martial arts or boxing.
Remeber that thing Trump did where he said something stupid and called it an alternative fact?

An example for an alternative fact is this story that rape and violence caused by immigrants have skyrocketed in germany last year, which is not based on facts, but merely on strong opinions. When people FEEL that the officials statistics do not reflect their perceived reality, and that is reason enough to decide the own perceived reality is the real fact, that's an alternative fact. The expression was coined by Kellyanne Conway after Triumph, the insult president had Sean Spicer come out to lie about his inauguration crowd size: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARxty_36JA8 Look how she pauses a moment before saying the words and how she closes her eyes. You don't have to be Dr. Cal Lightman to clearly see what a crock of sh1t this is, but it was just the beginning and meanwhile people stop giving a fnck whether statements are tru or false. Terrorepublicans have found the weak spot in society: just openly lie to people often enough, and boom. Literally.
Bet I can be in a subway without getting stabbed.
Political correctness gone mad and all that
Still a lot of good things about ol' Blighty
I'll stay for now
