My mom had tons of baby clothes she and her twin brother use to wear. All made from flour bags by my grandmother.
When my grandmother passed away and they were cleaning out the house they found a closet filled of old flour sacks with beautiful prints. My aunt is still using them to make teaddy bears and sending them to everyone in the family. My mom has mine back in Texas.
Those flour sacks were a genius idea.
If this would happen today and companies found out about it, they would make the bag out of another( preferably cheaper) material that could not be used to make clothes
or they would make 2 versions one with shitty material for the same price and a slightly higher costing version that has the current material just with a slightly different design
They also had little fire truck ones and strips or dots. There was tons of patterns. Some were just a solid color. One my uncles still has a shirt my grandmother made for him. It is well was a deep blue but it has faded to a light grayish blue
