As long as the coach remember they are just kids not adults. A game lost will not mean the end of the world.

Children, where the luxury is available, should be allowed to be kids. Teaching them about the world is smart. Kids aren’t angels by design- they tend to be driven only by instinct- and what they are taught. It’s the job of adults to teach kids how to be better people than us, not to repeat our mistakes. I don’t want future generations to grow up in the world I did. It was flawed in its own ways. I want th to grow up in a world with different flaws. If we repeat this enough and learn not to repeat the faults of the past, the world will likely never be perfect, but it also will likely get better and better.

I find a good philosophy with children is to put them on the shoulders of giants and let them climb higher. You can't go wrong with that.

Not a bad philosophy at all.
