So how does it start? Do they get their lowest paid employee’s home to live in, car (if they have one), etc?

Reminds me of a sweet co-op in Spain called Mondragón. They've got a rule that the highest paid employee can't make more than 6x the lowest paid employee. So if a CEO is making 600 grand, the janitor makes 100 grand.
When I was a ceo I was the lowest paid employee. Sometimes I got no pay so that all the others were paid and vendors were paid. People assume that if you own or run a company you magically have money.
(not trying to sound mean) I think this is for the billion dollar corproations. Like Walmart, I'm a cashier and I had to move back in with my parents. I can't afford school, I'm not allowed overtime and I am not allowed to work at a competitor. Sorry if I came off as ranty, I'm just miserable. :)
What if they switch responsibilities too! That way they can all lose their jobs because the entry level person lacks all of the skill, experience, and grit it takes to keep a company alive.
