I feel like I deserve some credit

An old coworker lived next to this college professor. Local school, older guy, frumpy, didn’t make a lot money or prestige. He did have an insanely beautiful college aged girlfriend though. In the mornings he’d be in a chair on the porch, coffee in hand, his belly hanging over his belt, and she’d be on her morning run, she was very fit. Anyway, she lived with him, they’d been together about 2 years. This guy would use a pen to make marks on his milk cartons and cheese packages so he could see if they went down from the last time he had any. If they did, he’d get furious and go off on tangents to my old coworker (his at the time neighbor) about how this lady (his live in girlfriend) was stealing his cheese! I bring this up, because I have to ask, were you a teacher in San Diego in 1975?
