Why?

It's just this weird culture of making jokes about your partner, it's like you don't respect them or hate them or think they're crazy. All the ones in which they say their partner is lazy, their partner talks too much. And I don't mean bad relationships that a person wants out of, or problems in the relationship they want solved. It's just considered the norm that marriage means the end of your freedom and joy. All those marriage speeches and parties saying goodbye to your freedom prove that. The posts in which the husband complains that his wife has aged, that she is ugly. This post isn't so bad, everyone needs their space and freetime. But it's part of a larger and depressing joke.
