I don't think you're understanding me. Trans people don't get boobs through surgery. They take hormones to literally change the way their body is to make their face, body, and skin look like a woman's. It also grows boobs roughly equivalent to their closest relatives' with perhaps a cup to half a cup smaller. You can't look like she does without taking hormones.

They can have surgery of course, but it isn't very common and is nearly always done post-hormones.

I know they take hormones to change their appearance and surgery is done post therapy. I was merely stating that this particular the trans man may have had surgery. Plus it depends on your own personal beliefs on this matter, many believe that you are what you're born as and no matter what your brain thinks you are. Others believe you can be whatever you want or feel what you should be. I personally believe in the former but I accept that people will do what they want so I respect their decision and I'm not going to judge them on that. You do you.

Also, you shouldn't talk about things you don't know about. It's not "Other believe you can be whatever you want" or "many believe that you are what you're born". It's a scientific fact that you are born trans or cis and that there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. It's not a choice. Transwomen are born as transwomen. Transmen are born as transmen. It's a literal case of the wrong brain growing in the body and there's absolutely nothing that can be done about having the wrong brain. The only thing that can be changed is the body.

I agreed with you about the hormones I stated that the transman may have had surgery post hormones. I wouldn't necessarily agree that it's a fact..

Not really. I'm sure there is a very, very small amount of cis guys who take hormones. And by small I mean you could count them in the single digits in the entire planet. Those guys are likely what we'd call an egg. A chick waiting to pop out. A guy who is in denial essentially. It's even more unlikely as you almost always need a medical doctor and a psychogist to get the hormones. There is an increasing number of doctors following the "Informed Consent" model though which is absolutely brilliant for trans people due to the scams therapists do to trans people. "I'll give you a note to bring to your doctor for $500 for a minimum of ten months with an obligatory extra ten months after signing the note."

Informed consent is essentially "Sit down and listen carefully while I explain what hormones do to you, what they might not do, what they can't do, what you can expect, and what side effects there are. If you know all these and still consent to taking, then they're yours."

@peachypersimmon It's a transwoman not a transman. Transmen are FtM: Female to male. Transwoman are MtF: Male to female.
