I didn't actually think it looked like anything other than rizza until I read the caption, but then again I hated cursive z's

That sounds like exactly what someone who didn’t see the word ‘rizza’ would say.

But see the thing about lower cursive "z" is that the first curve is supposed to be distinctly not connected in order to distinguish it from a lower "g".
