I would exit the software and remove it from my computer.for every software there are clones of that software which can do the same.. So i would rather use them.

@ilikemoderation or by someone who is not be able to write short enough agb's which people can read without spend their whole life with it. most agb's are written really long and that in a way in which normal people can't understand it well.. if they choose to write that stuff this complicated & long, it's no wonder no one gonna read it. if it would be shorter.. okay. but not that long. most time there is even just stuff in it who don't really apply on you but on the company itself.. and a lot of stuff which is just there so you can't sue them.. a lot of stuff which don't even apply because it's not legal to put it into a agb ("if you accept this terms, you sell your body and soul to us and we are allowed to do what we want with you, your family and all your physical stuff you have") etc etc..

I mean I agree with you there in that. I like short t&a as much as the next person. But just because it’s long doesn’t mean you sign it without reading it. It’s legally binding. I mean I do this with little things on website accounts but whenever I hit install, I read through it because they could have any type of spyware or data collection in that software and you just agreed to let them. Just saying, when it comes to agreeing to legally binding contracts, don’t be mad when the creator wants you to actually read it and make sure you agree.

In germany, you can't put every stuff in it and it is legal binding. Even if you accept something.. If it is not legal to put it in, it's not binding. Even if you write too much and people read it not because that.. It's not binding. If you register somewhere as an example, and it will cost you something.. You even need to put on the submit button the info that it costs something.you can't just hide stuff in the terms. Don't know how it works where you live tho. But normaly i do a search for stuff like "cost" "price" etc. to be sure on some websites.

20 minutes for 1208 lines. At first I though this was rather slow but after doing some math? 1208 lines is roughly 45 pages at 500 words per page. I read around 830 wpm. It would take me approx. 26 minutes to read this. To be finished in 20 minutes I would need to read around 1125 wpm. The average person reads around 200 wpm. So really it would take between 1.3 hrs to 1.6 hrs to read.

This could be software I need to install to finish my last year of college before going to a seven figure job but if it does this shit I will decide I don't need it and drop out from pure spite.
