Yeah flooding is a bit unnerving but gale force winds are like hell on earth.

The flooding is what kills the most people, though. 90% of people killed in a hurricane are killed either by the storm surge, or due to rain-induced flash floods.

Hide from the wind , Run from the water. I grew up in south Alabama. We pretty much grew up knowing this.

He was killed by his own kind... sometimes I see these brutal pictures and realize how lucky I am to still be attached to my building.
