For example for girls in the 90s it was "heroin chic" and the 1800s was beautiful to be what would be considered "overweight" now
In the long ass times ago only relatively rich or famous people could get their paintings done. And most rich families of the time were inbred to some extent. (plus if you’re rich enough to pay a painter and go a whole 1-2 days without working, then you’re rich enough to buy your title of handsome)
