Whenever I see something sudden or really scary like this, it feels like my stomach jumps. Does anyone else experience that?

Yes me too! Remember Momo? It scared the ever loving shit out of me the first 10 times I saw it, but I kept looking at it and staring at it until it no longer scared me. Now I think she looks kinda cute, like a big bird.
