How about you look up the story, this is a girl transitioning to a boy who has appealed to be able to wrestle with the boy but has not been allowed so has no other option other than to wrestle girls because their state requires you wrestle with the gender you were born into
So, the reason they can't wrestle with the boys is that they would likely get destroyed. They shouldn't wrestle with women because their body is essentially the body of a woman on steroids, but even a woman on steroids is more than likely to get destroyed by a dude without steroids with the same amount of training. It's just the way bodies work.
Well, she must have had some sort of advantage, either more skill, Or perhaps something about her body gave her an advantage, I've heard having a smaller frame can be advantageous.
This is wrong whether it be Male to Female or Female to Male. In either case, testosterone is being pumped into the body which is giving the same effects as if you were taking performance enhancing drugs. For mtf, they still have the remnant testosterone benefits and for ftm they're currently taking said testosterone.
Physical sports just aren't made with trans people in mind yet.
I’ve always thought it’d be cool to have an Olympic Games where everyone is jacked. Gloves off no doping rules lets see how far and fast the human body can really be pushed.
Then the "Gotta be rich to win" thing that already soaks into the Olympics would get infinitely worse. If you don't care about fairness then sure.
I think the cyborg thing is a great idea personally. One of the biggest issues with robotics is the lack of a cemented goal, so I imagine it would be a great motivator.
There might not be a central cemented goal but with most robotics things are developed for the lack of said thing for the serving a specific purpose. Basically everyone working in robotics has their specific "cemented" goal.
Everyone has their personal goals, true, but you are forgetting that humans are willingly to sit and stare at someone while their eyes are burning just to win a competition. If you put some people together with a competition, then you'll notice that they will work far harder in order to win.
Most robotics is a competition. They aren't making things to further shit. At least not as a mainstay reason. The only people that are messing with robotics that aren't actively competing with someone else are hobbyists that aren't gonna be making any new discoveries either way. Discovering something before the rest of the robotic community. Getting a robot to market before the other companies or even the other teams the same company put on the same project. With any project like that they always but 3 or more teams working on the same part of just one robot design trying to beat the others to the punch or beat the others in quality. With robotics there isn't really any stagnation.
