Don't watch the UK one if you can't stand secondhand embarrassment and awkwardness though, it relies pretty heavily on that. I prefer the US one but I know a lot of British people have a different sense of humour
The UK one took me a lot of adjustment because I didn't know what it was at first and I just thought it was a bad documentary, then after 1.5 episodes I got suspicious, looked it up, saw it was a comedy and gave it a go but to be honest if I had had something else to watch...
However after some time it was okay and even enjoyable. Just weirdly british.
Oh god no, I suffer badly from secondhand embarassment. I know it is meant to look like a documentary, apparently the UK sticks to that better than the US but I probs will enjoy the US more if that's where the dank memes come from.
