70 year old WW2 plane abandoned at the bottom of the ocean

I was thinking an SBD. The vertical tail seems a bit small for an SB2C, but it's hard to tell.
Definitely American though with those Swiss cheese flaps.

Yeah and the wing shape. Its most certainly a 2 seater
