if impressionists are not careful they can forget their own voice so it can be done how it happens i am not sure though

So, I am an American. I also do theater, and have a pretty solid RP. While visiting England on a college choir tour, *all* the theater kids would start slipping into RP accents without even noticing. It was awful! We felt like such assholes!

In case anyone is wondering, people have "accents" in signed languages too! Smooth or jerky movements, fast or slow, exaggerated or slight, etc.

Woah really? That is legitimately really cool! I hope that their accents don't prevent people from understanding them like ours do!

Sometimes people sign a word differently than you expect and they have to spell it out but mostly you can get the gist because grammar is set up differently from spoken languages. Unless they speak a different sign language, in which case you're screwed!
