Fun fact: beer does not dehydrate you unlike every other alcoholic beverage stronger than around 5%, pretty much regardless of how much you drink. Also, hard spirits can seriously damage your throat and gullet when you're just chugging it down trying to be a tough guy. If it has to be whiskey, sip it.
