Staying in Japan right now. Can confirm overcrowdednes and the need to shape food. Everything is down sized and cramped compared to the States but the food serving portions are big and cheap
Where about's are you staying? In the cities or the country side? Cause the countryside is apparently very open and gorgeous, I've never been though but I want to so bad.
I mean, if you can shape your fruit, then why not? It's a bit of novelty.
"I want an orange for lunch."
"You should go try the rectangular prisms! I had them the other day, and they were great."
"I had those last week though. Maybe some triangulars?"
Not gonna lie. This place is way different from the Western world. If you think we're shallow you're in for an awakening. Oh also its a cash based society so 7-11 atms are your best friend. Bring headphones cause you're supposed to stay quiet on the trains and download Google translate. I'm trying to think of any more tips but drawing a blank. Any questions just ask.
Hahah! I did actually know that, it's kinda sad so I'm wanting to stay out in the country away from lots of people. Headphones are my best friend so no worries about that, thanks again for the tips!
eh... it's just cardboard, cardboard decays pretty fast as long as the right conditions are met (wet and warm, preferably dark... basically a compost pile). About 3 months. As long as they are doing that with the waste instead of putting it in a landfill, whatever.
